On 21 September 2026, ACLAB, in collaboration with Radio Naf 99.2 FM and with support from UNFPA, organized a Theatre for Development (TfD) performance titled “Violence: Awareness is the Key to Freedom” at Camp-24 (Leda), Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar.
The performance aimed to raise awareness among camp residents and surrounding communities about the prevention of social and domestic violence, its harmful impacts, and available ways to promote safer families and communities.

Around 1,000 people attended the event, including camp residents and members of neighboring communities. Camp-in-Charge (CiC) Khan Zada Shahriar Bin Mannan, representatives of CWFD, ACLAB and Radio Naf staff, and local volunteers were also present.
The engaging performance encouraged community participation and highlighted the importance of awareness, prevention, and collective action in addressing violence.
Through initiatives such as TfD, ACLAB and its partners continue to support community-based awareness and promote safer and more inclusive environments for vulnerable populations.
